Historic Wine Cellar: In the ancient atmosphere of the Historic Wine Cellar a Merlot is produced as a joy of life. Recognised as a quality handcrafted wine this Merlot is harvested by hand from one single vineyard, showing a true “terroir-character”. Fraai Uitzicht 1798 offers a tranquil retreat, balm for the soul, the ideal place to spend a relaxing, comfortable and culinary few days.
Accommodation: Cape Dutch Style cottages, situated by the pool, feature open reed ceilings, modern interiors and French doors opening onto the verandas, and cottages situated beside the Historic Wine Cellar keeps the original charm of the 1800’s, with wooden ceilings and natural colours. The individually appointed superior garden suites, each with air conditioners and a private outside entrance, offer spacious bedrooms and modern en-suite facilities. The garden suite finishes off the ensemble of accommodation types to be enjoyed at Fraai Uitzicht 1798 with a bedroom en-suite, heater/fan, tea- and coffee making facilities and a mini bar.
