Oestervanger Cottages Self Catering or B&B (Contact: Elsa & Alda)

Situated only 180 km from Cape Town, Oestervanger Guest House and Self Catering units are surrounded by the tranquility and beauty of the Robertson Valley. We are situated at the foothills of the Riviersonderend mountains, south west of Robertson.

There are 3 Guest Rooms in the Guest House of which 2 are rented out as a family unit since guests have to share a bathroom, the other room is en-suite.

The three self catering units are named after the indigenous plants of the area: Ghwarriebos, Kraalbos and Renosterbos.
Each unit consists of two bedrooms(1x twin and 1 x double). A bathroom with toilet, basin and shower, an open plan living area with small kitchenette,dining room and an open veranda with a braai.  Inside the living area there is an old dover wood burning stove for atmosphere and warmth in winter.  For the daring we have an outside shower. All units are fully equiped.

Activities include mountain biking (2 trails of 30 km and 18 km respectively), a beautiful kloof for an easy hike, fishing and excellent bird watching.  We challenge people to spot bird species that are not on our bird list.  We also promise beautiful clear skies for star - gazers.

We have a small house restaurant in our guest house.  Please book in advance come and enjoy nature away from all the sounds of city life.
