The trip is about 10 km long and we paddle past some of the nicest vineyards in the valley, with the majestic Langeberg mountains in the background. The bird life is incredible, in quantity and variety, and there is always the chance of spotting the elusive otter. The river is gentle enough for first timers, with enough small rapids to make it exciting.

This is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. So if you have driven the scenic Route 62 and enjoyed it, then why don't you try and paddle it. We meet at 09.00 and bring you back at about 15.00. You will enjoy a picnic lunch along the banks of the river which is included in the price.

The cost is R400.00 per adult and R300.00 per child u/13.
