6-8 September - POETRY IN MCGREGOR FESTIVAL
We are delighted to confirm the dates of the 2024 festival and its theme, ‘Longing for Home’, and the Afrikaans ‘Heimwee’.
Poets will again gather at Temenos Retreat, to respond to their muses and share their works. We will be reminded of poetry’s important role in our lives, and how deeply curative it can be, especially during our current, global, troubled times.
Please diarise the weekend of 6-7-8 September 2024 and join us for what will again be a marvellous event.
Poets wishing to present at the festival can download the submission form on the website www.poetryinmcgregor.co.za or contact the Festival Coordinator at info@poetryinmcgregor.co.za. Submissions close 31st May 2024.
A call for entries to our Poetry In McGregor Competitions will be sent out on 30 May 2024. No competition submissions will be accepted before 1 June 2024.
