Enjoy live music and a wine tasting from Bonnievale wines.
Sunday 4 October - St Francis Day & Remembrance Ceremony at Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary
This World Animal Day, come and join us among the donkeys for a special morning of readings, prayer, song and music, followed by a Blessing of the Animals led by the Revd Mark Stephenson.
Bring your pets too, dogs must be on leads.
After the ceremony, take a quiet and contemplative stroll along Adam’s Walk, through the peaceful countryside and onward to the Memorial Cairn.
Come and share a morning of peace, love and remembrance among the donkeys.
The coffee shop will open at 11:30 after the ceremony and there will be a special menu, so why not stay for lunch too.

The Java MTB & Trail Run brings together adventure, community and the great outdoors in the heart of the Robertson Valley. Whether you're taking on the mountain bike routes, joining the 5 km fun run or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this is a day designed for families, friends and wine lovers alike.
Make a full day of it with live music, delicious food and a glass of Java Pinotage as we celebrate International Pinotage Day in true Van Loveren style.
Proceeds from every entry will go towards supporting a local school, making every pedal, every step and every entry part of something bigger for our community.
